Not pretty, but a good win for the Miners. We almost found a way to lose this one. Glad we avenged our loss to the aggies.

It’s great to see the Miners and our fans celebrating at the pan am.
This is the first time since 2010 the Miners have won at the Pan American Center! In my book a win is a win!
Road wins are usually ugly and we hit free throws when they mattered. We’ll be more than glad to take it
We haven't won in Cruces in 14 yrs until tonight.....wow.....and we led the whole game!!

Sounds like last win in cruces was with Barbees tournament team. Pretty bad but good for Golding accomplishing something Floyd and Terry couldn't do.
Those teams Floyd and Terry went up against would have won by at least 20 points tonight and got the sweep. A win is win but it is pretty disappointing that we are 2-2 against NMSU since they had to completely disband their basketball program.
Didn’t this team that we just beat go to the Pit and beat the crap out of them a Lobo team that is currently 15-1 in conference.

Keep it classy nmsu fans. I stopped going to games in Las Cruces for this reason. I’ve seen them throwing objects and yell obscenities to Miner fans. I’m ok with the trash talking, but not ok with throwing crap and getting confrontational. I’ve seen them do it to older people and families with young children…they just don’t care. One of my friends had his car window broken a couple of years ago for having a UTEP pick axe decal.
Definitely a must win, now let’s go on a run and hope we get Bynum back! I really wish we would’ve beat Jax St. they are cooking now and gonna be tough, but if we are full strength we can match up with them and have a shot in the Tourney!
There is no doubt this Miner team has nights where they fight hard and are fun to watch. It’s amazing to me how bipolar they seem though. Losing by 30 on our home court, then going and beating that same team in their house. All the ups and downs this team has experienced. A really good game here, a fvckn terrible game there. Which team is gonna show on any given night?
I have zero doubt this team can beat anyone in CUSA on any given night. They can also lose to almost anyone on any given night. Not saying they can’t do it, but putting 3 in a row together has proven to not be an easy task for this team.
Sure would be nice to return to the big dance, though.
