It's Dan Quinn. We saw for ourselves with the Cowboys that his defenses are good until they get steamrolled.
They are overachieving. Let them keep building their team and they will be head and shoulders better than Cowboys. They are headed in the right direction, while the Cowboys are heading the other.
Can you imagine though if Jerry had actually gone out and got a RB, the difference that he would have made? Too little, too late now. The fact that Jerry was dumb enough to not get one, and see the numbers of all the Rbs that changed teams and the numbers they are putting up, tells you everything you need to know about Jerry and where the Cowboys are headed. He would rather pay 60 million a year to sign a guy that has won only 2 playoff games in his career, when he was surrounded by the best talent.
How stupid can you be to pay a guy that hasn't proved he can carry your jockstrap in the big games, and on top of that take away one of his weapons in a RB, and you have the recipe for disaster.
I keep laughing when people keep saying we should trade away for picks. They are right, but not when you have a 60 million dollar albatross on your team for 4 more years. Secondly, you have a GM that is so dumb that he thinks he can win with what he has. Jerry is not thinking rebuild, and that defeats the whole purpose of building the team through drafting. You do that with a young QB or one that is not so expensive, doing that now defeats the whole purpose. Jimmy did it when the team had a young Aikman and Smith, not an aging QB with average talent.
