OT: Houston upsets Oklahoma 33-23

Although both teams are ranked in the top 25, this was another great win for Houston. To think that not to long ago we played in the same conference and we actually beat them a few times. I hope the Miners follow in their footsteps...

Wowser for OU. That is not the OU I am used to seeing. Houston is the real deal but OU O line struggled and defense was not good, even though many from last year went to the NFL.

OU OLine struggled because they were out-quicked all day by UH front seven. Ward out-played Mayfield from bell to whistle. No upset here.

Hell of a game. Hell of an atmosphere. Almost a surreal feeling at NRG stadium.

Final thought. Give Oklahoma tons of credit for scheduling UH, especially in Houston (71K crowd appeared to be at least 70-30 UH). OU, TT, and OSU are the ONLY B12 schools who have scheduled Houston since breakup of Big 8. Add AnM to that list of avoiders...
