Dont they make most of their money from sports betting?? Casinos will probably be empty. What happens to all the bets that were placed earlier?? Hopefully they have the money to refund all the people.

You can get rooms at the Flamingo for $10 next week. Be glad you don’t work there. They will recover, just depends on how long it lasts.

I only care about how El Paso does during this. Vegas can worry about Vegas.

Okay how will this affect sports getting in Juarez??
Is that better??

I work here but not in the casino industry. I remember after 9-11 it was a ghost town on The Strip.

Salary is below national average. Slightest drops in attendance hits workers immediately.

More into my realm but LV residential boomed but got crushed in 08-09 major recession. Like large metro areas when markets are good the spouse is happy but when that Himalayan mountain turns into the Mariana's Trench, watch out! Why doesn't El Paso suffer as bad? In west Texas, most workers are public workers: Schools, law enforcement, local to fed.

Was that directed at me? Why would I not care about an American city or town?

Its for Autograph boy/ doesnt have a NCAA whatever his name is.

They seem to reply a lot to topics that they dont care about. Do they not know they dont have to reply to everything??

Casinos actually make the least on sports betting. They make more on slot machines.

You have proof of this??

Is the Nevada Gaming Control Board enough proof for you?
For the 12 months ended January 2020, Sports books made $372 million. Total casino winnings for the same period were over $12 billion. So sports books represent 3.1% of casino winnings. Slot machines are over 65% of total.

who cares about vegas! gotta support our local bookies. Who else gonna buy drinks when we all **** up?

I live in Houston and about the only thing I want to do right about now is to drive over to Louisiana and play blackjack for a few days. It's beginning to look like that might be a lot longer away than I'd like.

sarcasm

I was only kidding, I don't want any city to fail... besides the EPT, especially sin city

Yes, those are valid points, but any El Pasoan or UTEP fan should want El Paso to be successful 5 times over Vegas. El Paso people are buying tickets, not a black jack dealer from the Philippines living in Las Vegas.
