In case anyone wanted to know or cared. Hats off to Kugler for finishing strong. This season could have been much much worse. I think we went 5-5 since the Jones season ending injury and all those other season ending injuries. Good job Kugler.

Every UTEP fan cares - that pretty much defines a fan. Win or lose, fans care about their team and this Miner football team earned all the respect they receive from fans of UTEP sports. This team never quit even when doing so would have been accepted by some so-called "fans". Kugler and his staff deserve credit for molding this team into a tough, never give up group. Next year holds promise of a great season when all of the "walking wounded" return with the youngsters who stepped up this season. Go Miners!

Isn't it nice to have a team get better down the stretch and win? Sure beats the Mike Price era when we folded and went winless in November
