Wish I could be in EP for this week's games. What a meaningful game Thursday. Was just thinking that what interrupted our 11-2 run were four(4) points...Three at W.Ky. and one vs. La Tech. We could easily be 13-3 in conference and 15-13 overall. All this after being 2-13. Regardless of how the rest of the season turns out; this is a degree of gratification not experienced by me in a long, long time. I sincerely hope that the casual fans in EP are aware of the turnaround and the importance of these next two games considering there is essentially no newspaper source anymore. There needs to be a big campaign to get the Don packed. The team; players and coaches deserve some support.

Looking at Ticketmaster I would guesstimate that about 50% of the Don is sold right now for Thursday and about 45% is sold for Saturday afternoon not including the students sections which you can see. Remember, Saturday's game starts at 1 pm. If I was a betting man, I'd go $10 that we'll get between 8k and 9k

I will bet $10 for each game.
 
The top 2 teams in C-USA MBB attendance this year are 1) ODU and 2) UTEP.

ODU is averaging 6,328 per home game and is done at home.

UTEP is averaging 6,113 per home game with 2 games left.

For UTEP to win the C-USA MBB attendance title once again, the Miners need to average 7,839.5 for the last 2 games.

Thank you so much for the research. I was curious as to what crowds UTEP needed to repeat as attendance leaders for a fourth straight year. I think they will hit over 8k for ODU. If we win we will hit it again for senior night.

MinerinWisconsin do you have the total attendance for UTEP? Utep2step said on another thread that over 10k tickets were already sold for Thursday night. I would like to do the math and see how many tickets we would need on Saturday to overtake ODU.

This is absolutely false. ↑ However, UTEP just anounced a fire sale. 8 and 10$ tickets so expect a big crowd.

I got my source from Kyyote's Den. But some banter on Twitter between a local sport media and a fan on here has me uncertain. So who knows?

These stats are from the C-USA website. UTEP for 14 home games so far has a total of 85,585. Sorry that the formatting didn't come with it.

I would like to offer my apologies, the post on Kyyote's den said there are "thousands left". I am sorry. Next time I'll make to drink my caffeine, then post. Sorry.
 
Looking at the map, it looks like about half of the tickets are sold (not counting the student section). My estimate is 6-7k on Thursday and 7-8k on Saturday if UTEP wins on Thursday.

All jokes aside, I think that is a fair bet at a fair number.

That being said, I'm setting up a new PayPal account that can't be traced back to me physically because I do think you are a sick freak.

I'd be pretty surprised if we got even near 9k.

Thursday games that start at 6pm aren't good for attendance numbers. I'd say about 7.5k eventually trickle in by halftime

If anything, it helped my sister and a buddy of mine get off their butts and go buy tickets.
 
9K thanks to the ticket offer they have going right now. The kids deserve this and at this price I think we will hit 9k at least
 
Ticket prices should help some. Still, that start time is killer. Any reason they scheduled this so early? Will it be on tv?
