It was a great win regardless of how we look at anything else. Tough win on the road, and a step in the right direction especially after the terrible game with NMSU.

We just don't know what we get out of this team. Do they have the talent to win the CUSA tournament, and just at times don't play to that potential? Is it bad coaching at times? I don't know how to pin point it.

Let's just hope they continue this kind of play, because they have a tendency to play down to their competition as well. I am hoping that this is a turning point, and that they win the games they are supposed to. I can live with that.

Haskins always said you have to win at home and split on the road. In this case they need to beat FIU because Liberty was the tough one on the road. Kudos to a great win.

ICYMI, a lot of mid major down to the wire action last night as analysts and content creators were all over it, including UTEP v Liberty. Good to see mids getting all the love last night for once.

BTW, listening to the post game show on ESPN600, one stat they mentioned stood out (not confirmed), UTEP in the paint layups, dunks, etc.., was fifty percent. So half of their easy buckets were missed. They pointed to missed dunks by UTEP. (I missed the game for prior commitments so I didn't see them).

Yes, I have watched the Utah Valley State and San Jose State games among many others. Seems that you conveniently keep forgetting those. Did you bet on the Miners in those?

Liberty is the best opponent they have beaten with a 76 Quad ranking. You are acting like the Miners are giant killers. They have a 136 Quad Ranking. How is that going to hold up in the MWC?

Not to rain on your parade, but 1 win is not going to make the season. You act like you would be happy if they win 20 games but don't win the CUSA tournament. To me, it is tournament or bust.

Hey, they let you out of your safe space. I really think you should take your own advice with some of the random comments and attacks that you make on here. The issue you have is that you live in a bubble where you can't take any criticism of the Miners and attack the poster. Your bigger issue is that you never offer a solution to any issue with the Miners, as you take on the approach that attacking the poster instead of his criticism and give an issue why he is wrong, is beyond your comprehension.

I already knew what response you would give because it is the same one to everyone: Leave if you can't accept everything about the team and never criticise them. Maybe it is you that needs to find another place because you are triggered by everything and anything that affects your bubble.

I think the longer you have been a fan, the more you have to look at and it really affects how we see the team. Someone who just has been one over the last 15 or 20 years definitely would not have that perspective.

My guess is that you have been one for a long time and like me, we are getting frustrated with the lack of change and are afraid that it now has become the norm and people are comfortable with it.

Yeah I’m satisfied with a team 13-4 at this point that knows how to close out games. You want to watch only the few games we lost and bash our coach and our players and be negative towards what we’ve done. Enjoy the misery

Not yet, I don't think. The Pavia ruling only applies to guys that are out of eligibility this year (extra year). You would think the NCAA would continue that moving forward, but they may be waiting on the new administration in the hope of getting some rulings in their favor.
