Well, worse, why didn't he throw that away? Why run out of bounds for a loss of five yards?
Only 10 points in the first half, and more stupid penalties. This team will get killed at Boise State next week. 🙄
Not worried. My buddy JB will be here alongside me and we will enjoy the game. Or, at least the 'digs interaction with other Miners die-hards.
That’s the problem with undisciplined teams. The Miners were moving the ball well and those stupid penalties killed our drives. You can’t allow a team like BCU to hang around because 10 points is nothing. Our defense has played well, but our offense needs to wake up. Coaches need to jump on our guys and we need to come out fired up.
And that punt returner that allowed the ball to bounce and ended up being downed inside the 5 yard line. SIT HIS ASS DOWN!!! 😡
Nah, Rot. We suck. Just grab your fav bev, sit back, watch the game while cheering on the few good plays from our Miners, and accept the loss. Like the other 54,728 losses since we established a football program. It's all good!

Our running game kept that drive alive. Our passing game had many miscues and a ton of dropped passes.

Remind me again, did people say to fire Double Ds if we lose this (even with the NMSU win)?
Barring an incredible collapse, UTEP will escape an embarrassing loss.
UTEP is obviously the bigger, stronger, more talented team and this should never have been close. But a combination of stupid penalties, stupid play calls, and I think arrogance resulted in a much closer 3rd quarter than it should have been.
I'm glad that the MIners are finally playing with some urgency and seem to have finally put this game away. We cannot play like this against anybody else (well, MAYBE New Mexico) and expect to win. Last week, I thought some of the penalties were iffy, but they all look legit this game, and they probably could have called more. UTEP looks even sloppier this game.
How does Dimel fix this?

Our secondary has often sucked, but a new level of suck has been attained. Damn, we are terrible.
I haven’t watched this whole game, but from what I’ve seen, he has some soft hands too. Runs good routes. Could be playing at a higher level imo.
It has been an underwhelming lackluster stinky shitty performance by UTEP.
Not impressed, but the Miners are 2-0. Have a week off after the Boise game. Must win at home over UNM.
