Wow forgot game was last night! I thought they were improved, but this was a huge step back. No excuse to lose double digits at home at your own tournament!
What happened to Jordan Lathon? One point from a four star player? There's a big part of the problem right there. And only six points from Paul Thomas. He has not become the player coaches and fans hoped he would be. He really hasn't earned the minutes he's playing But it's good to see Evan Gilyard, Efe Odigie and Nigel Hawkins step up. There is a bright future in there somewhere. Go Miners.
Yeah, this team desperately needs scoring options besides Efe and Evan.
Inconceivable that our players can't perform up to their abilities consistently. Yesterday Hawkins finally shows what he can do and has a really nice game. Lathon, who was appearing to be on the verge of superstar completely vanished. Thank God for Evan and Efe. For this team to win, they must get contributions from everyone and that ain't happening. Didn't even appear that Jobe and Eze were there. One minute you think they can be winners and then they lose at home to 3-8 team. Anyone know why Eze had hardly any minutes?
I think that's the ups and downs of a team made exclusively of freshmen, sophmores, and a senior who might as well be a freshman judging by his consistency and bbiq. There will be peaks and valleys. Yesterday was a valley. I'm still high on this team. This team will be around .500 this year. And next year will be a top 3 team in CUSA that will go to the NCAA or NIT tournament.
