So right now Baylor is making Gonzaga look like a mid-major program from a weak-ass conference.
Well, the good news is that it's early. Gonzaga is one of the two best teams in the nation, so let's see if they can adjust.
I haven't played organized basketball in decades, but I think that if the other team rarely misses and when they do, you can't get the rebound, you're in trouble.
Teams have bad games.

I used to root against the other Texas teams. Still cared as recently as 2019 when Tech made their run, although far less then previous years.
At this point, who gives a shit. No one else knows or cares. I would trade this pointless distinction for a first round victory in the NIT.

I think if Baylor keeps fouling it will be tough to win. They are shooting lights out though and those offensive rebounds..sheesh.

I just turned the game off. Baylor has made the Zags look like UTEP tonight. I never expected Gonzaga to give up so many offensive boards, turn the ball over like that, and miss key free throws. Are we sure it isn't UTEP out there?
Baylor has been incredible. They are simply the better team out there tonight. Congrats to them on their Championship.
I didn't know how I would feel watching another Texas team win it all. Turns out it doesn't really matter.
I was prepared for Tech to win it all a couple of years ago. I could had accepted any other Texas school to win it all. But not Baylor. I didn’t want it to be this program.
I’m not sad that another team from Texas is gonna win one, Texas, Tech and Baylor have so much money it’s unreal. I’m just disappointed that’s really ALL we’ve accomplished in our two major sports in close to 60 years.

The obvious next step is for UTEP and Baylor to have an annual basketball game until the next Texas ncaa champ appears.
It was only a matter of time before our streak would end. Texas has great programs in all major sports and this was bound to happen. Houston, UT, and TT came close in previous years and now Baylor has won it all. I think UT will be next Texas team to win an NCAA championship. Our future, unfortunately doesn’t look bright with our current AD and FB and MB coaches. Enough with mediocre results. We need a solid AD to turn things around and inject some energy into our athletic programs.
