We desperately need an inside presence and I need to tell my guys to attack the hoop.
We've kept Lofton I'm check so far. But with our inability to score we're getting killed.
Looks like Golding is searching for a lineup that works. With Agnew and Kennedy out, only Onyema and Dekoninck have yet to see court time. Nothing is working.
I think we are figuring out who may not be around next year.
If I'm Golding I'm all up in Kalu's face getting him to play angry. He has the goods. Time to use them. Otherwise Onyema is in.

Then we have Saterfield who hits damn near 50% of his shots, plays within himself and doesn't turn the ball over, rebounds well for a guard, and gets only his 2nd shot opportunity of the game 17 minutes in. Unbelievable.
I was thinking the same thing about throwing Onyema out there but unless he's improved defensively Lofton will murder him out there.
And so Onyema is out there. Hope he can fire up this team with a highlight reel dunk or something.
And I'm not really sure Dekoninck is suited up so it appears that everyone that is suited up has seen the court.
If UTEP is going to play like shite, I might as well stay in the comfort of my own home Saturday night and watch the Cowboys play like shite instead. 🙄
This is frustrating. We may not have world beaters on our roster but we should at least be competing. We look like ass as a team. If it wasn't for Bieniemy being on fire, we'd be down by 25 at the half...at home.
He plays SO soft. If he'd just man up and play with all the authority he can muster, I think he'd be serviceable. As he plays now, I can hardly watch him without wanting to throw a shoe at my tv screen...especially on the offensive end.
First, 1870 was a prediction. I haven't heard the actual attendance figure, but yeah, it isn't good. Second, I don't think that anyone in El Paso who didn't show up tonight feels all that bad about it after the half we just saw.

I like the Onyema/Sibley combo with our guards. Onyema just needs to work on positioning. Implement some pick and role and Onyema could destroy the paint.
Why are the refs protecting him? He's throwing elbows and pushing off on every possession

He's averaging 19.5+ points a game...37.5% from 3. Hasn't been a bad year other than lack of consistency due to injury/illness. Tonight though...
