I predict Lofton will do what he did last year: stick his butt out to push the defender under the rim then turn around for a lay-in or 1-foot jumper

C’mon, we’re UTEP, not Duke. We all know how things turn out when the decision rests upon the shoulders of the NCAA.
I'm worried that Tydus has a back injury. Would love to see him put some mojo on Junior. This game should be telling by how many minutes he plays.

I’m not thinking we will do much without Kennedy. Wouldn’t it be great to have Boum, Bienemey and Kennedy all playing together, healthy again. Seems like ages.
Kennedy isn’t the only one that’s not playing. La Tech is going to have it’s way, with the Miners. La Lofton- 68 La UTEP-47
Wondering the same thing. KTSM last night reported that the Miners will not have a Full Roster due to Covid and other factors. They didn't name any players though.
Injury/Covid wise this team can't catch a break. How many games have we played a full strength?
This may turn out to be another disposable season. Hope Rona takes a hike before the tourney.
I'm really dissapointed in our front court this year and it's not looking any better for next season so far. We will be loaded with wings and most of our guards should be coming back so... 1-2 guys in the front court need to be a revelation in conference, otherwise a shake up has to happen. If not Golding will be gasping in year 3 when whatever back court we have expires.
