Do we ever play a good 2nd half ?We are not looking good so far this 2nd half. Threes aren't falling like they did the first half, giving up too many offensive boards and fouling too much. We need to block out, play better D, and start hitting some shots.
He hasn't come back out. Must be badGot lucky Poulakidas isn’t playing, but we’ll take it.
Outside of maybe UCSB I don’t knowDo we ever play a good 2nd half ?
Doesn't look like we're turning them over in the second half. We don't get turnovers, we suck.Giving it away at the line
This. 💯 But it is always better to win. 😀We didn't so much win as we survived
Grit? We led practically the entire game, and almost gave it away at the end. We were lucky, not gritty. We win!!! Woohoo! This team has grit !
Your negativity is really tiresomeGrit? We led practically the entire game, and almost gave it away at the end. We were lucky, not gritty.
This needs to be asked by the media. Why does Joey insist on NOT having his best five out there in crunch time???
Best defenders or best scorers? Why does Joey insist on NOT having his best five out there in crunch time???
You made a horrible decision 🤡Considering how awful the college football playoff games were today, I should’ve gone to the UTEP game instead.
I find unwarranted cheerleading tiresome, but to each their own. I'm always happy when the Miners win, but reserve the right to critique the way they earned that win. I thought that the UCSB win was a good win, beating a solid team on the road. I praised them after the Seattle win, as I thought that was their best home win of the season. I thought that they played with heart and grit against Louisville, and if they could only rebound their defensive boards they win that game.Your negativity is really tiresome
Sell out the Don for NAIA Northern New Mexico, who is 4-16! Athletics is so important up there, they haven’t posted the outcome of their game on Friday. Come see Baylor Hebb and Antwan Holmes play significant minutes against some scrubs! Now the fans need to fill up the don … we are 9-3…. Played really well against a tough Louisville team … no excuses
Talking specifically about Bynum.Best defenders or best scorers?
Yeah. Crazy the kid is averaging 19 minutes a game. Had 15 last night. Hasn’t been in in at least a couple situations where we really could have used his scoring.Don't expect a big change in defensive rebounding. Golding's defense dictates that. Also blocking out is no longer a focus in basketball.
Not having a reliable big to start or come off the bench has been a slow burn. Other than Kalu, there are 4 other guys on this team that have been unable to step into that role for various reasons. It's a huge missing piece and all based on Golding's poor recruiting/planning for this moment.
Bynum not playing more is becoming sort of the next Jones like conundrum.
I know you can do better !Sell out the Don for NAIA Northern New Mexico, who is 4-16! Athletics is so important up there, they haven’t posted the outcome of their game on Friday. Come see Baylor Hebb and Antwan Holmes play significant minutes against some scrubs!
I agree. I think Bynum should be getting 20-25 minutes per game minimum. Golding has a bit of a log jam in the backcourt, which is a good thing, in theory. I think for Bynum to get minutes in crunch time, he would need to jump past Barnes, who plays the two the majority of time on court. I just don't see Golding sitting Terrell down the stretch in games. Golding also has Thomas who has been getting more minutes, and has been decent backing up Terrell. Bynum's shot selection frustrates Golding at times, and he sometimes loses focus on defense, but I think his offensive upside is worth the extra minutes.Yeah. I watch his defense. Unless I’m totally missing something, it’s not bad. Wonder if he has nagging injuries and because it’s a long season, Golding is using him the bare minimum so we have him down the stretch. Even CJG has to be aware of the drop off in scoring potential with him on the bench. I don’t get it.
Yes he should be eating up some of Thomas’s minutes.I agree. I think Bynum should be getting 20-25 minutes per game minimum.
