14. Green Bay Packers Will Hernandez, G, UTEP

If this actually happened it would be great news for Philly but I don’t see him still being available by then.

14. Green Bay Packers

Will Hernandez, G, UTEP. The Packers undoubtedly know the impact quality guards can have on a team, as their offense ran most efficiently when T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton dominated on the interior in Green Bay. Some will see this as a bit early for Hernandez. After the first month of the season, it'll be obvious why the Packers picked him.

He was initially a 2nd/3rd rounder, then peaked at late 1st round. Last week was inching closer to early 20's and now just outside the 10th pick. Amazing. This nugget of a great man, did wonders for himself in the Senior North South Bowl.

Probably the highest "pick" for a UTEP Miner yet. Be nice to block for Jones.
This site loooooves Will and thinks he will be an All Pro in a few years, but will be a starter immediately because there are teams who have immediate need for his services. This site thinks Seattle at 18 since they had a lack luster running game and unable to open lanes for Wilson or Cincy at 21 since they need an anchor as they rebuild their offense.

I say he goes early second round behind Connor Williams from Texas and Quenton Nelson from Notre Dame. I just think the 0-12 campaign hurt his first round chances even though he blasted, pancaked, contained, knock on his fanny every opponent across from him through every play in every game including Oklahoma and Army.

Woo hoo! He had a private workout with my Bucs! (and a few others).
