The only time a Mike Price coached team got under 20k was the last game of the 2009 season.

With Price, UTEP had a chance to win most of their games. With Kugler, there is rarely any hope.

UTEP has lost its momentum it looked like it was gaining when UTEP hired Price and Floyd. Everything looked positive with fans being so excited about UTEP athletics and now it's a downward spiral. There just isn't any excitement from the community when it comes to UTEP and that's dangerous in the long haul if major changes don't start to occur. UTEP can't just rely on the alumni to keep this program afloat it needs the support of the community.

To be fair, there wasn't a whole lot to be interested in on the field.

You can't run a boring offense like this and expect to sell tickets unless you win a lot. And UTEP is not even winning at all at this point. The Army disaster really demoralized the fan base and maybe the team too.
