Why no news about another hire for Dimel's staff? Found a twitter post about Matt Rahl's hiring at Utep which occurred 4 days ago. After looking up his twitter account, it does show the SunBowl stadium on his site. He may have been on staff with Dimel at U of Wyoming. Thoughts...

Thursday and mainly Fridays are horrible times to get news out. Politicians call Friday "news dump (Friday)" because that's when they release a lot of important news but do not want it in the regular cycle with networks and media for whatever reason.

UTEP probably wants to make sure everyone's John Hanncock is on paper.
