Exposure? Maybe, who honestly watches all these pre Christmas lower tier bowls? I don't. Revenue? Even with some of the mid major bowls, it's been well documented that some teams barely break even. Sorry, but a Bowl game at 6-6, or worse, 5-7 Just doesn't excite me. It's akin to making anything less than the NIT.

Okay... YOU don't... but the ratings for even the lowest bowls are bigger than most other live events. The sponsors are able to make money and therefore this increases payouts. Yes, there is exposure in that recruits can be told that the team they're considering played in a bowl. I get bored out of my mind by World Cup, but that doesn't mean it isn't seen by others.
