Can barely squeak out a duck into the flat... Poor Aaron Jones. He's a STUD and has absolutely no help from the skill positions or his coaching staff that named this midget the starter.

I'm more disappointed with the defense. All I heard this preseason was how much tougher and improved they were. I understand the DB's are young and inexperienced, but the DL and LB's have yet make any plays. No pressure on yhe QB! Failure to close running lanes! Weak.

UTEP probably won't keep pace with TT's scoring pace, but that's not Leftwich's fault if he's executing the plays called.

My point is he shouldn't even be starting. He struggled to get the ball in the flats, missed on a slant, then didn't even get the ball near Reddix in the endzone. They aren't throwing downfield because they obviously don't trust him. So why is he out there? Why did they start him? But you'll get no argument from me about the defense. This is Mike Price-esque

You can't blame the skill positions when they don't throw to them. He's targeted Golden, which was no secret that he's not a WR. They've thrown it downfield once to a TE. Incredible.

I'm now more worried about our defense. Just wow, I get the Tech players are more skilled, but all of the missed assignments are crushing to the spirit.

Leftwhich has looked fine, not sure what game your watching, Defense is horrible and now with Jones out its all over its will be a blowout, because he does it everything for Utep
