Looking ahead to Louisville game

I don’t think we ever been good at playing against home cooking, it always gets the best of us and honestly can’t blame em. That with Bynum’s injury is hurting us big time

Home cooking aside. We’re letting them walk to the basket and leaving them wide open.

Agree but home cooking is good for about 8-10 pts right now. Not making excuses for the guys, literally expressed how they don’t play well against it, but still frustrating, and they’re still battling only down 3. Proud of the guys so far, either way it goes

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkk!!
Dammit u beat me to that same remark 😂😂😂 I guess we’re all in unison

Great hard fought loss out there for the miners. What absolutely killed us was the rebounding on the offensive end for Louisville.

We were also missing our nation leading steals this game. I’m gonna chalk that up to them being selective because of the quick whistles, but our defense played totally different in the second half than the first, especially with the whistle happy refs that period. We attempted 23 less free throws than them, most being in the second half.

Bynums absence for the remainder in the first half was also a big hit, but glad to see him come back to play in the second. He’s definitely “the black cat” dynamite off the bench we’ve needed for a long time.

All in all, proud of the squad, and am now more hopeful once conference season starts. Go miners!!

I didn't watch but the last 3:40 of the game; just a cursory look at the stats and what I watched we lost because of the huge foul disparity and of course rebounding. How many years has it been that we've had a good rebounding team?

That was an ACC officals crew, or was it custodians that work for Louisville?? Weak ass calls on Miners when as Dukie V use to say "ACC BABY"

Good question, I don't know the answer. But we haven't had a good rebounding team under Golding.
