Miners to get walk-on kicker

Just got word from our staff writer Angel Luna that UTEP will be getting another kicker on the team later today. He is Bel Air (El Paso) graduate Enrique Flores and will be at the Durham Center later this afternoon to finish signing paperwork and get his physical. I'll have a quick story on him in a bit after I talk to him. He should be a nice add to the program, especially given the problems with Dakota Warren.

What a touching story. I know some already know about it but I wanted to share it with those who missed this story. She is a remarkable woman. Poor Da'Vante. No child should have to endure such unnecessary tragedy. Thank heavens for the support he's received.

Impressive lady. Sure seems like she imparts the value of college/education to one's future. Sure hope Cook and now Phillips stay and get their degree. A shot at the NFL is just the next step.
