The Mountain West doesn't even want UTEP, so I don't know why people think the Big 12 might want UTEP. UTSA will be in the Big 12 before UTEP.

Even Tecnológico de Cd Juárez could get in the Big XII before UTEP does.

It's embarrassing enough for cusa to have to play in the convocation center at utsa. No way is it ever going to be good enough for the Big XII. Heck, Juarez tech whatever might have better facilities than the convocation center. That said, I think this Big XII talk is useless.

The convo center isnt spectacular by any means, but its the perfect size for cusa level hoops. Makes absolutely no sense for a school looking to establish itself and moveup to invest big money in hoops.
