Nord was from the Schnellenberger tree. Schnellenberger had a not so great very brief tenure at OU and Nord was one of his assistants. Nord got a tad razzed and boo'ed by OU fans back in 2000. I was at that game and it was hot as hell at 110 degrees.
Stoops quickly erased all bad memories as OU went on to win it all that year.
