A player like Klay Thompson recovering from injury could be playing in El Paso.

Can we sue Max Grossman for ruining everything?? Maybe if a bunch of El Pasoans grouped together and sued Max Grossman he would back off??

If UTEP can barely get 1,000 people to actually come and see them play FAMU, how do you expect a GLeague team to draw fans?

El Paso is going to pay to see a bunch of fringe NBA players not from UTEP play the Santa Cruz Warriors without Klay Thompson??

People go see a baseball and soccer. El Paso would support a g league team.

And there are no other baseball or soccer options available.
That doesn't make sense. Why would there be other Soccer and Baseball options?? Every other city the size of El Paso has a g league team. The Arena was suppose to be for a g league team. Now the opportunity to see a player like Klay thompson is ruined because of you and ur buddy Grossman .

Because we have UTEP basketball. We only have 1 baseball and 1 soccer team.

Have you ever seen any part of a GLeague game? It has the same amount of fans as the UTEP women get. We’re supposed to be pay more taxes so 600 people can see GLeague basketball 30 times a year???

No. It made it's way through the appeals and state supreme court. It's done, over, let's move on.

However, did he win over friends who live there or do business there or outside? Not really.

Only winners were the lawyers on both sides and the appraisers who had to render value for the court for both sides (if jurisdictionally required by the judge or lawyers).

El Paso lost overall.

You know it wasnt only for the g league team. Look at KJ Lewis there is a chance he skips college and goes play in the g league. Idk how they set up teams but maybe he couldve played for EL Paso... if they had a team???

Nope. The HS guys play on their own team and only travel. Maybe he could have played here twice or so! Brilliant!

g league added 3 new teams this season. Even Mexico got a team.

Mexico City won’t play home games this year.
Austin had a whole 1400 at their last home game. Gee, what would the city of Austin do without their G League team???

Ok I have heard of them. Didn't know it was a G league team. I live close to the HEB center. I've seen it on game days and the parking lot is usually dead.
There you have it folks. A guy I would consider a big sports fan, didn’t even recognize the G League team he lives near by. Yes, this is one person, but a G League team isn’t going to come close to filling a new downtown arena here.
