This year, something about closing out the first half has been their undoing.
Dimel better be coaching in the locker - like his job depended on it. But, he'll take them bowling with a 6-6 record and he'll get a 4 yr extension.

It almost looks like Rice is the team playing at home and staying in CUSA. These refs have no idea who is gonna be signing their checks in 2 years.
D has to hold on opening drive and O needs a quick score to tie...otherwise, game over.

We had an interception by 11 ruled an interception on the field and the replays didn't show evidence it wasn't one, but somehow the refs reversed it after looking at those same replays (2 different angles) and concluded it was incomplete. At the time we were up 7-0. Rice continued the drive to tie the game.
Up 14-7, the D forced Rice to punt and the punter fumbled the snap his knee was down when he gathered the ball, got off a punt. They review to see if the punter's knee was down (and it was) somehow the refs say "nothing to see here" and instead of getting it at the Rice 30 we get it at our own 24, we punt and Rice goes on to score and tie it at 14.

Terrible coaching on offense!!! Don’t think the players don’t know their coach is incompetent.

I don't think so. It really makes me wonder why they insist on that time.
I love the response, but we just had to call a time-out in order to kick an extra point. Maybe it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it was an isolated incident, but we should not have that lack of organization in game 11 of year 4.

Say what you want about this team but we're tied for second place for the second best record in conference. Not conference wins but overall record.

I don’t have a problem with Hankins transferring. Issues about playing time should be kept in house. Mommy shouldn’t have to fight your battles.
Things appear to have changed in a hurry. Only a month ago, exactly the day after the La. Tech game, Hankins Mom posted how happy they were that they made the decision for him to stay home. He then got a local NIL deal just a few days after that from the Arrieta AllState Insurance agency.
Passing through the student tailgate trash lot. There's porta potties, a security railing, security guards and a big ass 30 yard empty dumpster. You know what there isn't, any drunk students littering. There we have it. UTEP spent all that money for no one to use it...

Good job. Way too punch back trash talking Rice team. Boy were they jawing it up.
He is still young, seems pretty childish to make all this fuss. If you want to go, then do it. He has a lot of football ahead of him, for so much complaining.
