The latest on Dowell's injury?

I assume out for the season...and even more importantly his career. I did not catch the exact nature of his injury, as I lost the online stream. If he cannot return--thank you for all your contributions, LaQuintis.

What a shame. Dowell always played tough and contributed in many ways. Dowell did so much to help this team on defense, offense and special teams. Wish him a full and speedy recovery.

I don't recall a more snake-bit team in UTEP history. The M*A*S*H unit, particularly at the RB position, is incredible. Now, we (yes, I said "we") are left with a (true) FB and seldom used freshman RB to fill the void. I hope and pray Leftwich stays healthy, as he does bring a fairly good running dimension at the QB position.
