If you go back one more coach, Floyd was definitely viewed as a name coach at the time he was hired at UTEP. In fact, Miller has made it a point to pluck off CUSA guys to build his team via strong NIL payoffs. Who needs to recruit the Florida JC conferences when you can get proven D1 guys out of CUSA? These schools have become feeder schools to P5. Similar to football, Golding needs to really emphasize recruiting JC guys.
