As a UTEP fan I am more surprised when we stop someone. I'm always expecting our opponent to bust out a big play. As it is, I don't really think we've stopped them much at all in the first half, rather Colorado State is making drive ending boneheaded plays.
Second time a Colorado State receiver drops a gimme first down pass. Yay us.
CSU”s dropped passes are keeping us in game otherwise it’s probably 28-3 right now.
That's what I've been complaining about the most. Why aren't we seeing other RBs??
With the kind of online we got that can't block between the tackles, this is where you need a powerful runner like hankins. Too bad he got run off.
Can’t do much on offense when the OL doesn’t protect the QB and cant open holes for the RB. The only positive thing I can say about Dimel was his recruitment of great Offensive Linemen during his time at UTEP.
These commentators mentioned earlier that Jackson has the highest usage percentage in CUSA. All Locklear, no sniff of Cade. What the F U C K is Walden doing? F U C K everyone except your Austin Peay guys eh Walden?

Who is going to want him?? The other QBs that hit the transfer portal are still in the transfer portal. Actually I think Seth Mouser went to a community college.
Our defense isn't great but they're obviously a whole lot better than our offense. Our QB can't pass and can't run, he's more elusive than Cade but that's not saying much. At least Cade can air it downfield. Locklear/the offense throws so many short passes yet his completion percentage is below 50%, can't compete with QB play like that much less win. Maybe Locklear should sit out the second half. The defense has given UTEP a chance the offense has just been offensive, again.
I haven’t kept us with TV contracts but I really like watching UTEP on Max. It was CSU heavy but I really enjoyed that they kept talking about the game at halftime. They usually cut to Power Conference coverage when UTEP plays on ESPN or Network TV. I’d love to see UTEP in the MWC with the TNT Sports contract.
I can be patient and understand why Walden is sticking with his Austin Peavey guys…. BUT we’re 4 games in and some of these guys are playing worse than Dimel’s old guys. He’s taking a step back because he wants to keep sticking to his guns.

Our offense this season is worse than Dimel's. And that was a very low bar to beat.
Man…. This defense is giving me 1980’s UTEP vibes. Defense, Orange Swarm and Blue Blaze is on the fast track to being remembered in infamy like “A Meaner Breed”

These WRs have been getting killed. That’s the second big hit these guys have taken.

It’s a talent issue. If you don’t have talent and can’t execute, doesn’t really matter what plays you run.
