Why didnt additional suites ever get biult at the Sun Bowl?

I remember Stull talking about building additional suites and then it didn’t happen. That could have helped in raising funds for the program.

Anyone know the reason that didn't materialize?

I did find an article that says 4 suites were added recently, so I apparently missed this.....however, I don't think these were part of the original plan.

It probably comes down to money. Adding suites would be a big financial commitment and I can’t imagine there would be much demand. Would people be willing to pony up big cash to watch bad football?

Life knows this story I believe. Stull left it for Senter. Senter downsized the project is how the story goes I think?

Not sure if that was a plan in the works or just a vision. Stull once talked about on Sports Talk building suites on the visitors side. Then also enclosing the South End Zone with seats. The logic was that end zone seats sell and the high row sideline seats dont sell.

But I am not aware that there were any actual plans for this.
