My son plays for Santa Teresa. This was nuts.

Not really recruitment linked but still related to the team. Westmoreland had entered the portal and it looks like he hasn't signed on with a team yet. Is there any chance that he comes back to UTEP for his graduate season? Rivals has him listed as a 4-star and I think it would be great to have him back for one last run. He is a tremendous athlete and a team leader.

Hopinglast time was an aberration. We look good so far. Wish the UTEP app would stop crashing

UNM is currently top dog. 12-1 in conference and #35 in Ken Pom.

San Diego State, Boise State, Utah State, Colorado State, Nevada, UNLV all ahead of UTEP in KenPom.

Looks like they might weaken the MWC. Then UTEP can join with Wyoming and the leftovers.

Why are they playing high school football? And should they?

Discuss in a humble and respectful manner.

For giving purposes, UTEP should be courting these folks full steam ahead. Free tickets, champaign lunches, brunches, interviews by the pool.

They are consistently in the top 60 in the country (RPI and NET), good coaches, very low turnover, and NO DRAMA!!

GO MINERS!!

Fili initiated some ridiculous discussions about the Miners' chances for an at large bid before finally giving it up after our blowout loss to NMSU. There was one CUSA team coming into conference play, however, that did have realistic dreams of an at large provided they dominated the conference: Liberty. Unfortunately for the Flames, however, their play in conference hasn't been nearly as impressive as it was OOC, and those dreams are dashed. Still, I believe Liberty to be a significantly better team than we are, they're at home, and will be looking to bounce back after second conference home loss that they really should have won. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this one going our way:

It appeared we were all a little apathetic after the Aggie loss this past weekend and didn’t make a thread for the two road games Utep one. Here is one that can be used for both games. Let’s keep winning until the rematch with the Aggies in LC to get that bad taste out of our mouth!
