In 1965, Bob Arnold struck out "28" batters in one game which is a state high school record. I couldn't find any more info; for instance how many innings, who was the opponent, was it a state playoff game and the final score. I think AHS lost 1-0. Are there any fact finders out there? I think that's an amazing accomplishment.

Must of had his catcher drop a 3rd strike and the runner was safe at 1st (since there are only 27 outs a game).

It was an extra inning game. I vaguely remember it; just not how many innings as I stated above and final outcome/opponent.
