That was where he put W. Kentucky, that doesn't mean that's where UTEP would be. Utep would more than likely be a 16 unfortunately
I'm sure Skaka would rather not meet up against Golding again, but that would make such a cool story line. Utep would get some press outta that one.
I don’t know. I’m thinking 15. I think we’d come in ahead of the auto qualifiers from the SWAC, Summit, Big South, Big Sky and Northeast conferences.

Any team we play in the Tourney is likely going to get embarrassing. We are on a good run right now in a pillow fight conference , but this team is not very good. This is why UTEP needs to step up their non conference schedule and schedule top 25 teams to battle test the roster. Generating these easy cupcake non conference schedules does nothing beneficial except make some fans happy that we won 20 meaningless games.
15 seed?

If we get a 15 seed, that's what we earned. Actually I might argue we'd be overseeded at 15.
As far as a reflection on the conference, a 15 wouldn't be out of character, especially given that one middle of the pack team will be representing the conference. Generally, we've been in the 12-14 range, and that's where Tech would have been had they won. UAB won a game in the tournament as a 14 seed. Middle Tennessee won a game as a 15 seed.
