I think this is the year a player from a g5 conference could win the heisman. With Jackson suffering a huge setback. I think San Diego State's Donnel Pumphrey should be the favorite. He's going to rush for over 2000 yds this season. He's going to break Ron Dayne's record for career rushing yards. He's led SDSU to their best two year run ever. He's erased Marshall Faulk from the Sdsu record books. He's SDSU's plan A B and C and teams still cant stop him. He had a ridiculous streak of games with over 200 yds rushing.
The only other guy I think should be in contention is JT Barrett. He has set records for career touchdowns in the big ten and Ohio State. If Ohio State beats Michigan and win the big 10 title game, I have no problem if Barrett wins it.
