Not really true. They’re the only two with the financial backing to have a shot at being elected and pushing through their backers desires. A 3rd party candidate or one that is somewhere in the middle of the parties, does not and will not have the backing to win.
Convictions are determined by criminal courts. Trump was not convicted because he was not tried in a criminal court. There are civil judgements against him.
I don't want to assume anything on your behalf so I'll just ask, does that make his fraud ok with you? Does that make his forcible penetration of a woman's vagina ok with you?

The fraud is a flawed case. While I can understand "some" of it's points, I don't believe it will hold up long term. My basic argument is this, if I were to apply for a home equity loan and tell them I value my house at 1 mil but my house is appraised at 600k, what does the bank go off of? Shouldn't they be the deciding people to determine the value of the property and what interest rate to charge? If they agree to the 1 mil that I "think" it's worth, and give me a better interest rate, am I at fault when I pay it back in full, on time? I say no.

They'll be appealed, and people I trust are confident he will win, but the point of the judgements now is to deprive him of cash for his campaign. He has to post bond before he can appeal.
I'm not a Trump fan. I cast a vote in yesterday's primary for Ron DeSantis. I voted for Ted Cruz in the Iowa caucus (I was in Iowa then). But I don't like seeing the judicial system weaponized against a political opponent this way, just because the target is someone I don't like.
I agree with you on the weaponization of the judicial system. But in my view it is Trump who weaponized it while he was in office and will do so again even more vengefully if he gets back in.
