I dont know if there is a fix. If you factor in Sacks and Penalties. The Miners are dropping back to pass about 50 times per game. The Miners are only getting about 20 completions per game. Hardisons QBR last game was an 11. His overall QBR is good for 117th in the nation.
The run game only averages 2.6 yards per carry and is ranked 120th.
UTEP is 106th in Total offense. And that includes some really big plays.

There is no fix for this season just some bandaids. At this point we've all known Dimel's offense needs a running qb. For the rest of the season play Brownholtz. Run the read option give him a few RPO's. Throw some screen passes. It won't fix the offense and it won't save the season but it will be much more productive than the current offense. We can't continue attempting more than 40 passes a game with no threat of the run whatsoever. Add to that we have a qb who doesn't come off his first read. That leads to the disaster we've seen the first four weeks.
Dimel said yesterday the season is still young. 2 1/2 years ago it was “I said it would take five years”.
Dimel’s fatal flaw was believing Hardison was the guy.
Hate to agree because I love Hardison's arm but ... yeah ...
Takes more than an arm to be quarterback. He proves it every week.
Hard to believe a guy with no other scholarship offers isn’t that great.
According to one “expert” on here, he was a NFL prospect, but not anymore I guess.
