I hope so, kickball. But historically speaking, that was a typical Golding OOC road loss.

Obviously I won't stop watching, but it brings everyone's expectations back down to reality.

Random thought: I wish UTEP would stop playing D2 games. It's more beneficial to not play at all.

Exactly. People forgot about how shitty last years team was just because they won 2 games in the CUSA tournament.

This is how far the program has fallen, win 2 meaningless games and some fans are ready to think the team is good.

To be accurate it was five straight games, including three in the CUSA Tournament, before falling in the Tournament finals. Where did that leave us? 14-15 against D1 competition, which was unacceptable in year three. If he doesn't turn this thing around Golding needs to be gone.

Most schools play one or two of these types of games. They serve a purpose. They give a coach his first chance to see how the new players will play with people in the stands, and it gives him a chance to experiment with lineups in a safe environment. But like I said, most schools play one or two of these games. We play three, which is pathetic.

Completely agree. I wanted him gone last year, late season mini-surge and all. But we're stuck with him another year, so he has the rest of the year to prove himself. Am I holding my breath? Hell no! If we have the poor OOC season that we expect Senter needs to begin his search immediately. Of course it would be nice if it was someone other than Senter doing the searching, but unfortunately that's not likely to happen.
