It wasn't our terrible rebounding. I expected that. I know it will be an issue all season.

What bugged me is our ugly turnovers. For a team full of experience guards, we turned it over way too much. There was a stretch where we literally threw the ball away 6 or 7 times, which led to easy dunks on the other end. Hell, it became so regular that the aggies did a 360 dunk just for fun.

If your strength is you guard play (and not your rebounding), then so be it. I just expect a little more intelligent decision making, especially when these guys are more than experienced...

This is exactly right. We gave up 73 boards to CSU, but we committed only 8 turnovers the entire game, as compared to CSU's 21. Winning the turnover battle is key.

You guys hit it right on the head, the turnovers by the guards were terrible and made a big difference in the outcome!

Siakam had 23 rebounds and the entire Miner team had 27. That was the difference.

I saw a lot of mental errors which caused the turnovers.
We looked flat at times.
I just hope it was overconfidence.
At time there was no one to get a rebound, it seemed like we just didn't
care who rebounded the ball.
I just hope it was a day off.

Go Miners...

There goes the ranking, bye bye, and UTA will be quite difficult

What was frustrating as hell was during our 1-3-1 defensive spurt where the Aggies turned the ball over, we couldn't capitalize on the turnovers. We were only down 4 and could not get over that hump. 3 or 4 times on fastbreaks we would fumble the ball away instead of tying up or taking the lead. Major props to the Aggies, they are a good team but I think we let them off the hook. Also, you have to remember this is their first road game in a very hostile environment for 90% of the team...they'll learn from this.

Lee Moore pretty much didn't know what to expect as per pre game interviews. Going one hundred percent from three point range (5 for 5 I think) puts you up against the wall that's just has hard to fight as the last two minutes down even less.

Moore had his first bad game last night -- wasn't sharp. But who can Floyd bench him for? With Jones and Willms out, we're going to ride these three guards (Artis, Moore and Morris) as far as they can take us.
