Could Idaho be brought back to FBS? They were FBS before. Add Idaho and NMSU, and we actually have three teams in the Mountain time zone.

Maybe try adding Montana as a travel partner for Idaho. Montana has a football stadium that seats over 25,000, so they're FBS-ready. Can we convince them to make the jump?

Old Dominion wanted to build up the eastern part of the conference. Maybe UTEP can try to build up the Mountain Time Zone part of the conference.

Idaho-Montana-NMSU-UTEP has potential, I think.

CUSA is to be sure sweet talking Presidents at 5 of the 8 schools left behind so they don't also abandon ship, which seems likely they may do. Would this 12 team conference convince them to stay or 10 team conference if you subtract NMSU and Sam Houston who is looking to move up to FBS.

UTEP, NMSU, Sam Houston, La Tech, S.Miss, W. Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, ODU, Marshall, JMU, Liberty, FIU or 10 teams minus NMSU and Sam Houston. One could say that's an improvement at least Football wise!

UTEP needs to dominate whatever CUSA turns into in football and basketball and improve football facilities. I know UTEP is way out west, but doesn't it account for something that El Paso still has a majorish airport making it easy to get in and out of without having to bus like some of these smaller schools? I know this probably isn't possible, but if I'm Senter I try and get a deal with Univision and Utep and get a good deal going and market to all the Spanish speaking people across the nation. It's already been said half the media goes to Spanish viewership which lowers our TV market. I of course still want to see our games on at least ESPN plus, but this might really help Utep springboard into a future in the MWC with Univision helping build a Mexican American Fan Base. Don't kill me, I'm just spit balling at this point, don't even know if this can be a thing.

The one upside about adding NMSU is that we are now open in our schedules to pick up an extra money game in football every year and 2 in basketball. I hate getting beat by 60 but we're gonna need them

We just picked up 3 WAC schools! 2 of which have been members for less than 2 years! The epitome of success!
