Still not happy that the tables were turned on us last night. W. Kentucky and the Refs unfortunately knocked us out from a chance at hearing our names called on Sunday... Kinda. The CBI I believe is a $27,500 buy in + invitation. Do most of you think we should play in this if invited. I'm on the fence honestly. I'd say I'd only want us to participate if the team plans to stay together for next year and if they commit to really trying to win it.

Yes they fought back , but the last seven to eight minutes were terrible basketball.
Players tossing up shots? cause they were caught with no where to go with the ball. Most of those didn’t even come close to the rim.
Playing DA and Mr Turnover down the stretch.
Not pressing until the last 55 seconds after the outcome was pretty much decided.
I still believe Golding needs to move back down to a lower level, until he finds an offensive scheme.

Liberty has lost at FIU by 5, by 10 at Sam, by 11 at Jax, by 4 in OT at LaTech, by 10 at home to Jax and by 2 at home to WKU.
We lost to them by 2 at the Don.

Our last time out at Jax hardly seemed like an away game in that tiny gym but the Miners were capable of handling them at home and away.

It's been proven that the Flames can be beaten, but can we do it? I don't think so, but we'll give them a game.

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I'm going to say we win the Jax St. away game (and the heavens open with a thousand angels singing) and go 3-2 to end up with a slightly improved record from last year. Enough to keep the status quo. Next year is the make or break it year for CJG.
