Thank you!!!! We called it here!!! Thomas isn’t a rebounder. He wants to Kevin Durant people and take them outside. More of a reason to find more big men. Hopefully Terry realizes his strengths and puts him in a position to be successful.

I still don't see Stroud as a 2018 recruit. Unless I see something showing how he's reclassified somehow even though he's supposed to be a SR next year, I consider him a 2019 recruit.
Yeah, I don't know but I hope we can stay #1 on his list and lock him up whether its now or in the early period for 19'. Ezeagu should be our top target at the moment IMO.

I think Ezeagu should be our top target as well. Also, Wichita St. signed a JC point guard this week, and they were also recruiting Alvarez. That may help our chances there. I am wondering if Terry is waiting on Likelele to decide before moving forward with Alvarez. Hope to see some transfer names soon as well.

That’s a strong list. Definitely think Ezeagu should be our top priority. Looks like a potential game changer to me. Next, because of our needs, I’d hope for Niang. If we had those two on the interior (although I know Niang can pull a defender out to the arc also), add in Odigie, and we’d be solid inside for a few years.
Adding Likekele or Alvarez to the mix would be amazing, and far beyond any expectations I had for this year.
Might perhaps surpass Haskins who got Hardaway but then almost got Gary Payton (and stories have it he cried when Haskins told him he gave the lost scholie to Eddie Williams).

Let's just keep in mind these are Freshman. I don't expect some to be huge impacts next year and others will. Terry knows he will need to build for the future and field a decent team next year as well. I'd say he probably ends up with 5 or 6 freshman signed and then a couple of grad transfers. That will fill this years needs and free up Scholorships for 2019. Remember our only SR is Thomas" so he has to be smart about these recruits for the the next few of years. With that said, still hoping for Likekele, however from the tape I wouldn't be disappointed with Alvarez instead by any means.
I agree, but when you bring in some good freshman and the fans know there is light at the end of the tunnel, that says a lot for the excitement of the program. I hope Terry keeps it up, keeps his players and then add some high quality peices over the next few seasons.
Precisely. Although I’d want it to be better staggered than Barbee did it, I wouldn’t mind Terry “building” this team with young guys with the intention of being very competitive in a couple/few years.

None for sure, but I believe CT was in Florida this week so we may have Alvarez visiting soon. Also Ezeagu should be here this weekend or next. We gotta get that kid! Maybe having them come in together would be cool.

Only 6 sholorship players with new signees. Expect 3 more freshman and at least 2 transfers. So that would leave 2 left.
I've heard the name Dion Wiley. 6'4" guard. graduate transfer from Maryland.
Madiaw Niang’s recruitment is gaining steam. He’s picked up offers from ODU and Oregon St since receiving one from UTEP.
Also scored 15 points and had 11 boards in only 23 minutes at the Adidas Gauntlet tourney in Atlanta. Really high on this kid. Hope Terry can snag him.

Be on the alert for any scoop on Likelele's Tech visit and share it here on Digs. He had all good things to say about his EP visit. He still has Stillwater on his itinerary. Probably be over a week from now before he announces.

This guy has tons of mid-major offers and is still growing. He was listed at 6'7" just last year.

Signing with a CUSA program over a big 12 elite 8 school does sound shocking to outsiders.
I think we're reading too much into this. I like the kid and hope we get him, but he's no 5 star top 10 or even top 100 recruit. I think he'd be a little cocky to consider picking Utep as "Shocking The World" that doesn't mean to say he isn't going to pick Utep, simply that I don't think this tweet is about his Collegiate choice.
He’s in the middle of making the biggest decision of his young life. He probably has hundreds of voices in his ear telling him why going to the Big 12 over UTEP is the better choice. This recruiting battle is really Terry vs Tech and Oklahoma St. Where were these big 12 schools last year when his best offer prior to Fresno St was Cal Poly?
