I find it interesting that Big Ham got his first substantial minutes of the conference season at Middle before a busted lip put him on the sidelines for the rest of the game. He was one of the first off the bench. This is probably going to be a trend. Ham is a flippin' bulldozer under the rim and Jeremy Cox has him coached up and ready to go.

The matchup defensively works versus Batcho, who is not a threat from outside the paint. Great to see Hamilton take it right after Batcho on the other end.

IMO, when he has time, he’s getting better. That last shot was beautiful form and all net. He’s had a few of those lately. I think he’s a guy willing to put in the work and will get better each year.

I only hope that it’s with the Miners that he’s getting better and better.
