Hardison with a 58% completion percentage against JSU and an awful 29 quarterback rating.
Calzada is at UIW for a reason.
However, I would like to see players of his caliber transfer to UTEP. I guess P5 transfers aren’t interested in coming here (I wonder why), unless they can’t cut the mustard like Tyrin.

From what I understand he transferred to Auburn from TAMU. So if he transferred to another FBS program. He would lose a year of eligibility. Transferring to an FCS program allows him to play right away.
Or maybe he just stinks and no one else wanted him.
An FCS team has a former two time P5 player while an FBS team has a former JC player at the most important position. Make it make sense.
Newsflash. Unless you love hearing Spanish, a lot of white guys would rather not come to El Paso.

Last Great Utep QB Vitatoe or Palmer? I say Palmer, I really liked that guy.
I wouldn’t even know if we could call them great. Palmer gets credit because he was the QB on those 8 win teams, but he also wasn’t good on that 2006 team that had a losing record.
Trevor had really good freshman and sophomore years and didn’t get any better.
Great, by UTEP standards... Put either one, on THIS UTEP team, and they are conference champs.
Still doesn’t fix the biggest problem - the playcalling and the coach
Palmer relied on his physical skills, Vitattoe on his heart and determination.
