Both teams are really Helter Skelter. UNT gives up a lot of yardage but they get it back at about 7 yards per snap. I read some UTEP secondary is out for this game. Look for UNT to go very deep with their WR Darden a few times, he's their only legit play maker who can make this game ugly for UTEP.
We all know UTEP 2nd half collapses, so I give UNT the nod. As MinerforLife said a few weeks back, at least UTEP got some additional golden practice time they would not have earned under normal circumstances.

I have to be optimistic and also be prepared for disappointment. I respect the players that have hung in there and are still playing. Those starters that hit the xfer portal prior to the last game leaving their teammates hanging are not the type of teammates you can depend on. If they want to transfer that's fine but wait until the season is done.

Its the worst run defense vs the worst pass defense.
They've called 3 personal fouls vs UTEP and Dawn gets thrown down 5 yards put of bounds and nothing
Brownholtz has made some great passes, but our receivers are dropping it right in their mits SMH 😒
Yep, I've made the comment before, but I hope this is my last season of seeing a Walter Dawn dropped pass.
And Dimel has called a good first half to his credit.
Dawn said in the Radio program that he's back for sure. Announcer hinted that everyone on offense is back.
Brownholz has a cannon...but his decision making needs a LOT of attention.

How would this game have gone back when it was originally scheduled? I think we would have won it.
Ok wtf! Brownholtz seems to fit into Dimel’s offense better than Hardison.
If he would stop throwing into double and triple coverage, I like his game.

Yeap. That’s why I’ll never blame an up and coming coach for taking the first P5 offer that comes his way. People tend to forget your success real quick.
Yes, this plus the multitude of self inflicted penalties and turnovers in this game. It is great to be up at half. The ability by Brownholtz to be a running threat makes a world of difference in this offense.
Great first half but we have been terrible in the 2nd half. Hopefully we can keep this momentum going in the 2nd half.
