Utep vs Utah valley

In 1992, UTEP was one of the best basketball programs in the country and Utah Valley was a junior college.
If they get blown out and it’s looking like that, then Golding is a snake oil salesman. This should not be happening!
28 first half points. Allowing yourselves to get down 16-0 to start the game. Golding's team still sucks against decent competition

I'm actually happy with the effort; you just can't spot your opponent the first 16 points on the road.
Effort is important. So is making shots. We've struggled with the latter WAY too frequently under Golding's tenure
I'm not. This is an experienced team that can't get stops to make a run. UV had done whatever they want offensively, and that is huge problem for a guy who supposedly preaches defense like Golding.
While this is only 1 game, it looks like the same old story. We’re not playing Utah, BYU, or Louisville. This is a good crowd for Utah Valley, but by no means is this some kind of difficult environment.
“Be patient” is what we’re told, we keep getting the same shit sandwich year after year.

Shooting 25% and being out rebounded 2to1 is not a winning formula. In fact it’s just bad.
It's probably a Quad 1 or 2 game (if Utah Valley is as good as last season; I mean, they did win AT BYU), so I never saw this as a must-win or even a game that a good team "should" win. I don't like spotting them the first 16 points and I don't like seeing the same problems that UTEP has suffered the last couple of seasons.
I've never seen a stoppage take this long with no punches thrown. What on earth are they looking at?
They were not “good”. 16-16 and 11-9 in the WAC.
Sorry, you're right; I was thinking about the season before when they were NIT semifinalists.

Sucks to see UTEP lose to teams, I had no clue existed... Was not expecting a blow out.
Miners losing 81-60 and will drop to 0-3 against WAC teams during the “challenge”
