Terry isn't messing around. Young team or not, he seems to be going for it. This is exactly what I want to see and what the program needs IMO.

So I’m guessing this is a one and done deal. Which as you said would mean Terry ain’t messing around. I rather play on the road vs a top 20 program than host a 250+ RPI team.
I totally agree. Either way is fine with me but I hope its a home and home or 2 for 1. I believe we should be at UNM this year again too.

As much as we revel in a UTEP non-conference victory against, say ... the San Antonio Spurs .. it matters not. Tournament championship, or go home.
Repeatedly, the NCAA has declared Conference USA as a one-bid league. No conference tournament title, no bid to the NCAA tournament of 64, other than the tourney champ.
Nobody would get more jollies out of UTEP going into to ABQ, and nailing the Lob-blows or, going to Tuckson and bringing home the cat skins we did under Hall of Famer Don Haskins.
Man ... cannot express how much fun that was. But with the current current structure, gotta win the conference tourney, Not much else matters.

I believe, that he's already in the ELP. Just have to look at his twitter feed closely. Could be wrong but the 785 (airplane emoji here) to 915 is a positive sign.
My wild guess would be Ezeagu. He did just visit this past weekend.
I'm guessing Ezeagu. Likekele would have posted something on Twitter if he committed, right? But not so much for Ezeagu since he's not active on social media...

I think it’s more likely that Ezeagu informed Terry that he intends on signing as a Miner.
However...
Likekele did take his final visit this weekend. It’s plausible that he made his decision and let CRT know that he intends to commit...but, wants to let it be known on his terms.
Gilyard would shat his pants with delight if he came here. Just imagine these two hooking up? Ezeagu needs more muscle for this level but he is D1 ready IMO.
100% fact. But you go with basics. Why do you think NBA is going international? Foreign players are stronger in the basics and they developed from there unlike american ball that wants you to dunk first.

Likekele seems to like Ok St as far as I can tell. There is a 19' 5-star SG by the name of Tyrese Maxey that has Ok St in his final 5 and will be announcing on May 9th. We may not hear from Likekele until after.
I am happy with Gilyard and McGee at PG. I would of course like to add Likekele anytime. I'm hoping Terry can get Niang and Alvarez in this weekend too.

Saw that last week. It’s anybody’s guess as to where he’ll end up, but from everything I can tell, I would bet he ends up at Kentucky.
I am with you though. I think Ezeagu would be our best get at this point. Then Niang. Likekele would be icing on the cake...as much as anything, to demonstrate CRT’s recruiting prowess and his ability to out sell some of the big boys.

My confidence level on signing Issac has dropped to 49%. It seems a lot of his friends are announcing commitments to Big 12 and other P5 schools. So he seems to want to follow that route of being able to compete against them and overall have a patch on his jersey that signifies “big time” schools.
Signing Ezeagu is the better option of the two since we do seem set at guard and really need some big men that can instantly make an impact.
I tend to agree. Miners need a big guy more than they need him. He would be icing on the cake.
We need a big man and we UTEP can use Isaac, right now. We have Gilyard and McGee tends to disappear at times during gut check while Gilyard embraces it. Isaac appears to have some Gilyard in him and can play different spots, IMO. I see a lot of Omar Thomas in Isaac (and UTEP legend Juden Smith, too).
Interesting? Thanks for pointing that out. OSU doesn't have CRT. CRT must have some mojo to attract him away from the Big XII schools et al in Texas and brought him to Fresno, don't ya think? I think all three have their fingers crossed.
That’s what I use to think that he would be loyal to CRT. He went with Terry and Fresno St cuz his other two options were Cal Poly and Central Michigan.
Now I’m thinking he’s keeping UTEP in his top 3 out of respect for the man that discovered him. But he really wants to sign with a P school. SMU was after him and he quickly turned them down. What’s not to like about SMU? Close to home, good basketball conference, and a good team.
If our patch on our jerseys said PAC 12, Big 12, or one of those other P conferences he would have already signed.

Or he is just enjoying the attention and the visits. Probably early on he wasnt getting this attention. As a player i think you have to enjoy the proccess and hear out every option. If i was him id probably use all my visits. Dont players have like 5 visits they can do or is it unlimited for them?
Recruits can take 5 official visits to D1 schools and unlimited visits to D2 and D3 schools.
We're strong at guard. We need a big athletic enforcer so I'm hoping for Ezeagu, Since he just finished up a visit here, I'm hoping the tweet is referring to him.
