Duke Keith on ESPN + has stated a couple of times that Austin Reed is leading the nation in passing yards. Is this accurate??? The stats I find online don't support this

He led last year. Either Duke is misrepresenting that or you heard wrong. But you’re right, he is not leading this year.

Duke seems like a nice guy but he is horrendous. "Ball will be placed at the 39, no lets call it the 39 and a half", "he is shoved out of bounds at the 18, no its the 19". Geez, just call it "around the 20" then when officials place the ball you can be exact, I dont think it matters all that much. He needs to let the play develop,, its TV so we see what happens, he thinks he is calling radio play by play. Tough to listen.

I have never liked Duke Keith‘s play by play style, so I just prefer to mute the TV.
The entire broadcast was depressing af. Due to UTEP's technical difficulties, I had the opportunity to glimpse what NMSU was up to just up the road. The contrast was striking. From the announcers to the atmosphere, the culture, and the energy, everything was executed far more effectively west of I-10. I decided to mute the broadcast as well and found myself contemplating life throughout the game.

I love Duke despite being an OU lover.

Many on here love Teich but he makes me watch erosion instead sometimes and his bro love with Sadler made me sick.

“Different strokes for different folks” I guess?

Is Teicher still cool with fans? He used to interact with fans at games. Just wondering if he still does.

NMSU has a broadcast journalism major while UTEP only has a multi media journalism degree. Ever notice how a lot of the local anchors who are from El Paso went to NMSU instead of UTEP? Given UTEP probably won’t spend the money to contract out the production, they’re probably relying on undergrads with minimal experience and understanding.

"Why the hell am I a utep fan? Does God hate me?"

Maybe Barstool encourages that stuff. Wannabe Manningcast / McaFee vibes.
Yeah, it’s all part of the Barstool, Penn, ESPN deal they had going. Disney CEO said ESPN Bet is going to ramp up the sports betting stuff.

Hell, check out this old SportsNation account:

And yet, here we are in Texas without being able to participate in betting and no casinos besides going to the ends of the state in NM, Lake Charles, WinStar, and Kickapoo slots.

You'd think Puritans ran the state, but oh, they do they are called republicans now.

No sportsbook or table games online in Texas, but you can bet on draftkings or Fanduel using lineups. Prizepicks is also pretty fun for parlaying over/unders on basically all sports.
