Think that's the only way your going to get it. Texas education code lays out each university that has one and they mention "The amount of the fee per semester credit hour may be increased from one academic year to the next only if approved by a majority vote of the students participating in a general student election held for that purpose or, if the amount of the increase does not exceed five percent, by the legislative body of the student government of the university." Which implies there was a vote before to implement it. Crtl+F and type in "election" and you'll get that for those universities.Yes I remember. This is why I suggest it be mandated and not voted upon by students.
And yes I understand its money, but that's the cost. We can't continue with the pobresito attitude. If everybody contributes, then everybody is a part of it. Fair and square.
