Golding is not getting fired if he doesn’t get to the ncaa tournament … you all must be joking
Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to wish for it.

Unfortunately you are right, as he will get fired his 2nd or 3rd year we join the MWC, and it will really hamper the new coach with a tough rebuild in a much tougher conference. The best time to let him go is this year if he does not make the NCAA tournament, so a new coach will have time to build this team around the MWC.Golding is not getting fired if he doesn’t get to the ncaa tournament … you all must be joking

I think Golding was what seemed like a quality hire at the time. It’s kind of obvious though now his recruiting is limited and he might be a win every 4 or so years type of coach, but I don’t see him as a DipSh..It won’t matter if Golding gets fired or not until Senter gets the fvck outta town. He’ll just hire some dipsh!t anyway.
Fully agree.I think Golding was what seemed like a quality hire at the time. It’s kind of obvious though now his recruiting is limited and he might be a win every 4 or so years type of coach, but I don’t see him as a DipSh..
I get ya. I think the jury is still out on our football coach though. I still like him and have faith based on his excellent recruiting.Fully agree.
I’m not saying CJG is a dipshit. Nor do I think Dimel was dipshit in actuality. Tongue in cheek. I’m alluding to the lack of faith I have in Senter to make a quality hire.
Schools at UTEP’s level rarely have “lame duck” coaches. Unless Bronzeing gets an extension, he will be a lame duck coach. Not even Dismel was a lame duck coach. It won’t matter if Golding gets fired or not until Senter gets the fvck outta town. He’ll just hire some dipsh!t anyway.
For sure. I have hope in the guy. He had decent success at Austin Peay. I don’t think it’s a huge step up in competition for him to now be at UTEP.I get ya. I think the jury is still out on our football coach though. I still like him and have faith based on his excellent recruiting.
Full disclosure, I like Golding. I really want him to succeed.Fully agree.

I was one of those shouting his praises. But just because I was wrong doesn’t mean I want to hang onto the guy. He’s been given more than a fair shake at things. 4 years in and there are still some gaping holes in this team. It’s a combo of recruiting and his coaching style, imo. His coaching isn’t going to all of a sudden get better. I can’t imagine his recruiting will either. Chances are, we’ll probably get about the same ole same ole as long as he’s here.Full disclosure, I like Golding. I really want him to succeed.
However, while I like UTEP rising to win Saturday, but showing grit and guts at UCSB and Louisville, then laying eggs against lesser opponents is frustrating. I totally get fan frustrations.
We went from "Who the F is Dana Dimel?" to "Golding is da man, who beat Texas!!". We are a frustrating fan base but for a mid major, an interactive and very vocal fan base. We are no where near Ohio State, ND, OU or most SEC team nucking futs fan base, but I can sense the frustration in head coaches and Senter when they are live on the air.
An old starting point guard from my high school bball days works under Thomas. Loves working with him and chemistry he provides.I think if we get Omar Thomas, Fili Rivera, Randy Culpepper and George Banks back by Conference Tournament time well have a shot!
