1-0 vs Florida St haven’t played since 1955
1-1-1 vs West Virginia haven’t played since 1950
1-1 vs Ole Miss played once since 1967

Take away those and we’re talking about NIU, San Jose St, Louisiana, Louisiana-Monroe, Tulane, ODU, Marshall, FAU, and of course NMSU. NIU, ULL, and ULM are only 1 offs so far too. Sad!

The Miners Defense totally dominated Latech. Holtz had owned the Miners with three different teams. Holtz had mentioned this would be one of his best teams at the start of the season. Latech came into this game with three close losses against quality competition from the SEC and ACC. They also had two weeks to prepare for us. The Miners D held them to only 3 points. Let that sink in.
