I like the way the D is playing initially. But if you play great D and give up an offensive rebound, well, you haven't really played great defense.
Nice to see Efe beat the double team with a pass to Williams. Double teams killed him last year.
Great anticipation by Hawk on that steal. Got greedy and bit again but paid for it. Still, good to see him back on the court.
Outnumbered NMSU fans making alot of noise. The Don crowd still filing in. Student section decent but still too many seats for what shows up.
Good question. I thought Vila was weak with the ball when coming down with the board last week, but tonight no one seems able to hang onto the ball.
My brother told me he ran into some Miner fans, wearing UTEP shirts, he told them to enjoy the game. They replied that they were not goint to watch because the game is sold out
Tight game under 7 to play in the half. Miner offense needs to pass better though. Too much street ball IMO. Play your offense.
If not for second chance points, we're killing them. Unfortunately second chance points count on the scoreboard.

Despite the poor rebounding, despite the costly turnovers, it is clear that this team can play. Clean it up and we’d have a double digit lead going into the half. Encouraging.
ok to those who are "in the know" I have heard Archie is one of our best players.... all I know is he was rated high.... is he one of our best players? on bryson williams level?
That second foul on Williams was cheap. Hopefully he can stay out of foul trouble in the second half. Defense was solid, just too many second shots and turnovers late. Let's get it Miners!!!
