Paul Thomas was useless today. It's a shame, because he was pretty good against Marshall.
Story of his career at UTEP looks like a solid player one night disappears the next. He is consistently inconsistent.
I think their way of counting is worse than ours. If it was sold out, no one went. And for a sold out crowd, they sure sit on their hands the whole game. I'll easily take our crowds.
WKU is the only school in the conference and probably in the country that reports tickets scanned. They sold every ticket but the announced attendance was 6,397.
They benefit from having sold out their allotment of season tickets before the season started. With 5,000 tickets already sold all they have to worry about is the remaining 2,300.
The UTEP name carries weight in Kentucky. Despite our lousy record it still was enough to get people excited enough to sell out the arena. This is only the second official sell out during conference play for WKU.
